The SOL library is a knowledge resources centre with print and digital resources related to the disciplines of the courses of SOL. It is situated in the hub of SOL campus established as a small library in 1962. This library was shifted to the new building in August 1991. The objective is to procure, organize, and disseminate the information in different formats to the distance learners. The main library is located in North Campus and another library is situated at South Study Center.

The library has rich collection related its all its disciplines and courses.

The South Study Centre library is catering to the needs of students who have taken admission in this centre. The whole library is housed in two rooms and one Reading Hall. Library and Book Bank services are provided only to the students of Pass/Programmed Courses.
The overall refurbishing of library with the scope of work of modifications in Civil, interiors, furnishing, exteriors, ICT and electrical works is being planned.
