About the Journal
Open Journal of Economics and Business (OJEB) is an online, double-blind peer-reviewed Bi-annual journal in the field of social sciences published by India’s first institution in open and distance learning the School of Open Learning, Campus of Open Learning (formerly School of Correspondence Courses and Continuing Education) University of Delhi, Delhi, India.
The idea of launching this online journal was conceived by Dr. Janmejoy Khuntia, Ph. D, Associate Professor in Economics who is also the founder editor. The online publication of the journal is possible due to the efforts of the ICT division of the School of Open Learning. The entire academic endeavour has been fully supported by its Patron Prof. Balaram Pani who holds the position of Director Campus of Open Learning and Chairman, Governing Body, School of Open Learning, University of Delhi (as on December 2020).
Focus Area of OJEB: Micro and Macro Economics, Economic Policy, Commerce and Business, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Management, Political Economy, International Economics and Business Issues, Economics of Development, Social Economic Environment etc.
The journal encourages critical thinking, original research, innovative ideas and problem-solving methods in the above-mentioned areas.

Paper Submission Policy
Submissions of Article
An Author (s) must give the following undertaking for submission of his/her/joint article:
- The said article has not been published anywhere before.
- The said article has not been submitted for publication elsewhere.
- The article has mentioned all the references/sources at the right place as referred by the author (s).
Guidelines for Submission
- The article should be sent in MS Word using Times New Roman Font of size 12 having Normal Margin and Single Space.
- Articles beyond word limit of 10,000 will not be encouraged; but can be accepted in exceptional cases.
- Anti-plagiarism/Similarity check of the articles shall be conducted by the editorial team. Acceptable similarity percentage shall be 20 or less.
- Article must be submitted 2/3 months before the publication date. For example, an article for publication in the July-December Issue must be submitted latest by 1st May.
- The Editorial Board reserves the right to reject/ask for revision/change the date of publication/uploading of article.
- The Editorial Board reserves the right to decide about the number of articles to be published/uploaded in a particular issue.
